What is heart, anatomy, diseases, treatment, diet

In this article, we will heart complete basic concepts about the heart, like; anatomy of the heart, common diseases of the heart, treatment of the heart, and recommended diets for normal functioning of the heart.

Position of Heart:

The heart is between the heart lungs and behind the sternum (breastbone). It is on the left side of the breastbone. The size of the heart is approximately the size of a fist. The heart is cone-shaped and hollow. The heart is a four-chambered organ in the human body. The two atriums and two ventricles.

Chambers of the heart:

There are four chambers of the heart, two atria, and two ventricles. Right chambered consist of right atria at the top and below right ventricle. Blood enters the heart through the right atria and this blood comes from the whole body.

How does blood circulate in the body?

Blood enters the heart through the right Atrium into the Chamber of the heart and then it is pushed into the right ventricle. And there is a tricuspid valve between the right atrium and the right ventricle.  Blood in the right ventricles is pumped into the pulmonary arteries that carry the blood to the lungs and blood is filtered in the lungs. Blood in the lungs is deoxygenated blood And after the filtration, this blood is converted into oxygenated blood.

Now oxygenated blood is carried to the left Atrium of the heart with the help of Pulmonary arteries and then this blood is pumped into the left ventricles, there is a tricuspid valve between the lift atrium and left ventricles. At last, this blood is pumped to the whole body with the help of the aorta. There is a bicuspid value between the left ventricles and the aorta. There is the maximum pressure in the aorta.

What are the common diseases of the heart? CVD

Cardiovascular diseases are the most common diseases of this era. There are millions of patients with CVDs. Here are the most common CVDs given below:

  • Heart attack
  • Heart failure
  • Arrhythmias
  • Heart muscle disease
  • Buerger’s disease
  • Blood clotting in veins

What is the treatment of heart diseases?

Heart diseases are because of cholesterol, blood clotting in the veins, muscle failure, or nodes in the heart. These diseases can be cured with the help of proper treatment. These diseases can also be cured by proper exercise. Sometimes surgery is required that is done by the experts of cardiology but this may be risky in many cases.

Diet is very important in the recovery of heart patients. In CVDs low sodium diet is given and fats are not given, to balance the electrolyte of the body calcium is given more. Cholesterol may increase the risk of CVDs so it should be avoided. Organic vegetables with green leafy vegetables are recommended.
